Companies
often need natives from other countries to work with them, either
in their export department, although, more usually for Trade Fairs.
People who have sales, furniture or export experience can easily
find regular work, especially if they also have language skills.
English is essential, but other languages such as Spanish, Arabic,
French and German can command a premium rate |
There
are also openings for IT professionals, especially in Shenzhen -
a new city near Hong Kong which is now the government backed centre
of the Chinese computer industry |
| We
are also aware of several projects that require volunteer workers,
such as renovation of the Great Wall of China, Archaeological digs
and some small water and electricity projects. Volunteers usually
receive food and accommodation, a small allowance, and sometimes air-fare.
